Jackson of GOT7 will not participate in the group’s activities in Japan.

JYP Entertainment took to GOT7’s Japanese official website Tuesday to notify fans of the absence of the singer, saying that the decision was “according to Jackson’s intention that he needs to adjust his schedule and manage his body condition.”

“We had several talks but regretfully, we arrived at such a decision,” JYP added.

With the exception of special occasions, the group will release albums and hold concerts in Japan as a sextet from now on.

“GOT7 will keep aiming for the top position in Japan as a sextet. Please support GOT7’s activities in Japan,” JYP said.
