A broadcast Saturday on the Naver V app showed CNU of B1A4 sharing his thoughts about his lead role in “Hamlet,” which marked the singer’s third role in a musical.

“When I was first offered to take the role of Hamlet in the musical, I had so many thoughts, such as, ‘Am I ready to do this?’ I was kind of afraid of this new challenge,” said CNU during a press call after the performance.

“But I decided to put aside away my worries and doubts about myself. Instead, I wanted to show people that I was capable of it. There were so many ups and downs, but thanks to fellow actors and people around me, I could endure those times,” he added.

Since debuting with B1A4 in 2012, CNU has taken lead roles in musicals, such as “Chess” in 2015 and “The Three Musketeers” last year.
