Park Shin-hye took the baton from actor Ryu Jun-yeol in a series of promotional messages TV stars are putting out for the upcoming PyeongChang Winter Olympics and Paralympics, Saturday on V.

“I feel responsible for having joined this message relay. I’m happy and honored to be a part,” Park said, while at a fashion shoot for winter apparel.

Park wished for the Olympics to be a success and hoped the occasion would bring the world together in harmonious spirit.

For the next ambassadors for the event, Park picked F. T. Island’s Lee Hong-gi, CNBlue’s Jonghyun and f(x)’s Krystal.

The PyeongChang Olympics will take place from Feb. 9 to 25.

Black Pink’s Jennie and Jisoo aired a live V show from Japan, Saturday, to tell fans about their recently debut in the country.

“We have been in Japan for a week. This is our first time to stay away from home for so long,” said Jennie.

“I usually don’t eat much kimchi soup, but I’m beginning to miss it,” said Jisoo.

The singers had several Japanese lines up their sleeves, which they showed off on V.

Black Pink is taking part in Tokyo Girls Collection over the weekend. TGC, a fashion exhibition and festival, invites nonprofessional models representing fashion brands to its stages.

“There’s a giant poster of us hanging in the Harajuku streets. It surprises us every time we pass by it,” said Jisoo, while Jennie said she was amazed by the hedgehog cafe boom in Japan.

VIXX’s Ravi aired a short video on V on Saturday, to say hello to fans before entering a VIXX LR fan event.

“Leo is preparing on the other side,” said Ravi, explaining why he’s without the other half of the duo.

“It’s eight minutes before the event. I’m going to be entering through the door behind me,” said Ravi, pointing. He added there was no special reason for the sudden live V broadcast.

For the occasion, Ravi wore a Fendi headband, which he said he had to cover the brand name of with black tape for an earlier TV music show. Ravi had several chains adorning his neck, one of which was a golden medusa medal by Versace.

He chatted casually with fans watching, saying he had salmon for dinner.
