IU will be participating as a guest artist in the upcoming album by hip-hop trio Epik High, YG Entertainment said Friday.

Confirming earlier reports, the agency said IU would collaborate with Tablo, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukuts for their ninth full-length album.

Epik High is slated to release the new album in October -- their first since releasing “Shoebox” in 2014.

The collaboration is the latest in a series of work IU has done with YG artists. Her recent album featured G-Dragon and Oh Hyuk as guest artists. She also appeared in a recent concert in Seoul as a guest.
