According to DSP Media, the six-member act is currently working on the album which will be its first since release the single “MayDay” in May. Whether it will be a single, EP or a full-length album is yet to be decided.

An agency official added that the band is still working on the concept for the new release.

April debuted in August of 2015 with the EP “Dreaming,” and won the best new female artist award at the Korean Entertainment Art Awards the following year. Its title track “Dream Candy” was nominated for the Bonsang award at the Seoul Music Awards.

In 2016, it held its first solo concert in Korea and Japan.

The rising K-pop stars said in an interview earlier in the month that their goal this year is to get a No.1 on local music shows.
