Singer trainees Yu Seon-ho and Ahn Hyeong-seop, who starred in the second season of Mnet’s K-pop competition “Produce 101,” revealed how difficult the “Pick Me” dance is in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Tuesday.

“Pick Me” is the theme song of the Mnet program.

During the broadcast held by the lead actors of upcoming web drama “Mischievous Detectives,” Kim Nam-joo of Apink said, “If we draw over 10 million hearts on our next V app broadcast, we will dance to ‘Pick Me.’”

Her promise surprised the show participants sitting next to her. “But the dance of ‘Pick Me’ is very difficult. You have no time to rest.” Ahn said.

Yu said, “But she sings ‘Pick Me’ well. Oh wait, we are singers!”

“Mischievous Detectives” will premiere in September.

Yein of Lovelyz

Yein of Lovelyz aired a V broadcast Tuesday from a Southeast Asian restaurant in Sinchon, Seoul, where she was having “cup bap.”

“You know (Sinchon) is called the originator of taste. There are many old restaurants and also many new restaurants,” she said, opening up the broadcast.

Cup bap is an individual meal served in a cup. On the recommendation of the staff of the restaurant, she ordered pad thai and nasi goreng.

While waiting for the food, she talked about her experience in Cambodia, where she ate frog legs.

“It sounds disgusting and unsavory, but it’s alright and very tasty! It’s very chewy and salty and I think it suits Korean people’s taste well,” she said. “If you travel to Southeast Asia, I hope you try frog legs.”

While tasting the dish, Yein explained, “Nasi goreng is an Indonesian food. I heard that it was ranked as the second best dish in the world by CNN. Looking at this, I understand why it was ranked so.”

“As I’m eating Southeast Asian food, I feel like I’m in Southeast Asian country, not in Sinchon. Did you just hear the sound of ‘tuk tuk?’” she said, referring to the rickshaws often found in Southeast Asian countries.

At the end of the broadcast, Yein was given a certificate for finishing the entire meal by herself.

K-pop boy band DAY6 were refreshed from their trip to Thailand, the group said in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Tuesday.

The group met its Thailand fans Sunday in fan meeting tour “DAY6 Live & Meet 2017,” which kicked off in Taipei, Taiwan, in July.

“I gained a lot of strength in Thailand,” Dowoon said.

“The food was really good. I also really liked the sky and clouds seen during the flight,” Wonpil added.

Wonpil also shared an anecdote from the flight. “I watched ‘Will You Be There?’ during the flight. Then one of my bandmates joined and watched the movie seriously. That looked very funny,” he said.

DAY6 will perform at the Summer Sonic 2017 rock festival in Japan on Saturday and hit Jakarta next on its fan meeting tour on Aug. 26.

It will also hold “Every DAY6 Concert in September” from Sept. 1-3 at KT&G Sangsang Madang Live Hall.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
