They’ve done it again! Chinese broadcasters ripped off Korean variety shows

Chinese Hunan TV’s “Chinese Restaurant,” which allegedly plagiarized Korean tvN’s “Youn’s Kitchen,” kicked off Saturday despite controversies.

It is not the first time a Chinese broadcaster has produced a program with a format similar to a Korean variety show without officially acquiring rights to remake the show.

Here are some Chinese variety shows that allegedly plagiarized Korean TV shows.

1. Mnet’s “Produce 101” vs. IQIYI’s “Birth of a Star” (literal translation)
