An official of the group’s label Big Hit Entertainment said Monday that BTS had been working on its new release and the group aims to make a comeback in September. The official added that there is nothing decided yet regarding the upcoming album, such as its concept and whether it will be a full-length album or an EP.

BTS’ return in fall will mark the group’s first release since “Wings: You Never Walk Alone,” the repackaged version of the “Wings” album released in February.

After making headlines internationally for becoming the first K-pop group to win a prize at the Billboard Music Awards in May, the K-pop group had revealed its ambition to hit Billboard’s Hot 100 chart with a new song.

Recently, the music video for “Spring Day,” the lead track of BTS’ latest album, became the group’s seventh to hit 100 million views on YouTube, following in the footsteps of its other hits such as “Dope,” “Fire,” “Blood, Sweat & Tears” and “Not Today.”
