EXO revealed that D.O.’s first impression was far from favorable when he joined the group’s label S.M. Entertainment.

On a Saturday episode of JTBC variety program “Ask Us Anything,” EXO featured as a guest and shared that D.O. had left a bad impression on other members at first, as he often glared due to his poor eyesight.

Then Chanyeol also revealed that Kai and Suho once didn’t want to have a meal with D.O.

“Back at the time before we debuted, me and D.O. bumped into Suho and Kai on our way back after shooting profile photos. I asked them to come eat with us,” said Chanyeol.

“Later I realized that Kai had told Suho that he didn’t want to have a meal with D.O. back then.”

Commenting on Chanyeol’s story, Kai said that at the time he thought D.O. hated him because he stare so much.

Kai said, “Just like D.O., I was shy with strangers. I couldn’t share a table with someone I was uncomfortable with.”

He added, “Two days later, D.O. and I buried the hatchet and we’ve been best friends ever since.”
