Chen and Baekhyun of EXO sought changes to their hair styles for the group’s new song “Ko Ko Bop.”

At the press event for the group’s fourth full-length album “The War” in Seoul on Tuesday, Chen and Baekhyun sported new hairstyles that went well with tropical-sounding “Ko Ko Bop,” a lead track of the group’s latest album.

Chen, who bleached his hair white, said during the event, “I’ve bleached my hair for the first time in six years since I debuted in EXO.”

“It’s a relief that fans are showing a positive reaction to my new hair,” he added.

Baekhyun also shared that he grew his hair back because he thought such a hairstyle was trendy.

“I’ve seen many people wearing similar hairstyles. Then I became confident that my sense of fashion was still intact,” he said, causing other members burst into laughter.

Chen added that other members have also dyed their hair in various colors in order to give off tropical and summery vibe for their new release.

The full-length album “The War” features nine new songs, including the title reggae pop “Ko Ko Bop” and electro-pop “The Eve.”
