Actor Ji Chang-wook opened up about his upcoming enlistment and wrapping up his latest drama “Suspicious Partner” via Naver V app.

“I feel bittersweet about finishing the drama. I feel kind of wistful about it because it was so much fun shooting it, and thankful at the same time for having successfully finished it. Credit goes to you, my fans,” Ji said.

He also talked about his upcoming enlistment on Aug. 14.

“I know it’s kind of late for me to begin mandatory military service, but I will do my best there no matter what,” he said, expressing his honest thoughts about the nearing future.

“I don’t know how my days in the military will be, because I’ve never done it. I’m worried, but excited at the same time,” he added.

The video also showed the drama set of “Suspicious Partner,” which finished its 40-episode run Thursday.

Showing viewers around the set, Ji expressed gratitude to staff, who also thanked Ji for his effort for the drama.

Monsta X’s new variety show “Monsta X-Ray 2” aired its first first episode Thursday via both JTBC2 and Naver V app.

In the broadcast, members divided into two teams to carry out on missions. Shownu, Hyungwon and I.M teamed up to work for a nail salon for a day, while Kihyun, Jooheon and Minhyuk became workers at a coffee shop.

Kihyun became the first member to take on a role of a coffee shop employee, taking orders from customers who didn’t recognize him.

Kihyun’s mission was to draw out specific sentences or words from customers, while other members from Kihyun’s team monitored him from the other room and directed him toward the mission.

As a part of the mission, Kihyun danced and sang in Japanese to try to get Japanese customers to compliment him on his voice. Shownu, who went to a nail salon, accomplished his mission as well by acting as a heart-throb to his customers, but the coffee shop team won winner of the mission.

Seungwoo and Byungchan of Victon enjoyed a night walk at Naksan Park in Seoul, a famous place for its amazing night view.

Seungwoo, wearing a baseball cap, kicked off the broadcast by pretending that he was alone. He then later introduced his night walk partner Byungchan by describing him as a band member who is very close to him.

“We will show you a great night view soon,” said two Victon members while they ascended the hill of the park.

While taking a walk, they also talked about Victon’s upcoming album, where Byungchan said in excitement, “You will be really surprised by our new lead track, because it’s so good.”
