Actor Ji Chang-wook is set to enlist in the military next month, according to Glorious Entertainment.

The agency said the actor would start his mandatory military service on Aug. 14 and undergo basic military training at a recruit training center at Cheorwon, Gangwon Province. He will then be in active service for 21 months.

“Enlistment is a matter of course,” Ji said earlier at a press conference, adding that he was not worried about the break in his career.

His latest drama “Suspicious Partner” will finish its 40-episode run Thursday. He will hold a meet and greet on July 22 for the last time before his enlistment.
