Jang Moon-bok, a rapper trainee from O&O Entertainment, became the new model for L’Oreal Paris’ hair product, his agency said Tuesday.

“Jang Moon-bok attracted much public attention with his long hair while starring on Mnet’s ‘Produce 101 Season 2.’ We thought Jang would be the best model because of his silky hair and good-hearted image he had shown throughout the program,” L’Oreal Paris said.

Jang said through his agency, “It is a great honor and I felt very proud for the precious experience.”

Jang first appeared in the media through Mnet’s survival audition program “Superstar K2” as a participant in 2010. He failed to move up to the finals but became the talk of town after the show aired his audition footage.

He recently appeared on Mnet’s other competition show “Produce 101 Season 2” and finished the show at No. 27, failing to secure a spot in the final 11-member group.
