British-Korean singer Shannon joined a photo shoot for the August issue of local fashion magazine Cosmopolitan Korea.

The singer wore a sports bra, boxing pants and gloves to make a boxer look.

“It‘s a boxing concept,” she said.

After the photo shoot, she asked fans to anticipate her upcoming album saying, “I have to practice stuff now. I’m gonna be practicing for my new album coming soon so I hope everyone’s excited as I am.”

She said her album will come out by the end of this month. “Stay tuned,” she said.

Shannon, whose full name is Shannon Areum Williams Lees, was born in the United Kingdom to a Welsh father and a Korean mother.

She first appeared in Korean media through SBS’ “Star King” in 2010. She gained popularity by appearing on SBS’ survival audition program “K-pop Star 6” on which she made it to the No. 4 spot.
