Kim Jae-joong of JYJ has embarked on filming for upcoming comedy drama “Manhole,” a photo revealed by C-Jes Entertainment on Friday showed.

In the photo, the singer-turned-actor is seen wearing a loose white shirt, sporting a messy permed hairstyle that suits his character in the series.

The upcoming KBS 2TV series is a comedy drama about a man who goes back in time to stop wedding from happening in the present.

Kim will take on the role of Bong-pil, an unemployed man who has been studying for a civil servant exam for three years. The story unfolds as Bong-pil sets on a time travel through a manhole.

”Manhole“ is set to premiere on Aug. 9.
