Kriesha Chu has done her first shoot for a snack commercial, as shown in a video released via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

The 18-year-old Filipina-American singer had already appeared in commercials for cosmetics and sportswear and was chosen to shoot a snack commercial, which the video claimed “only the popular ones can model for.”

The commercial, also featuring actress Lee Honey, centered on wordplay using the singer’s surname Chu and the name of the snack: “Chew.”

The semifinalist on season six of “K-pop Star” recently debuted as solo singer with her two-track single album “Trouble.”
