Girl group Pristin celebrated their 100th day together through a live Naver V broadcast Wednesday, opening the video with a sing-song voice of “Congratulations” and holding a cake.

“It seems like yesterday that we had the first showcase, but it’s already 100th day,” said the members. “We’re happy because we 10 members are together every moment. Thank you for your support and love.”

The 10-piece group also announced that their official fan club had been formed and they were holding a contest to name it. The band pledged to provide autographs to the winning fan.

“If you write down the name and its meaning, we will monitor the comments thoroughly and decide on one carefully,” said Lena.

Fans came up with various ideas, such as “Prism,” “Princess” and “President” through the live comment section.

Each members took turns to share the most memorable episode after their debut.

“We had to say ‘Hello, we’re Pristin’ since we’re rookies, but it was so hard for me to say our team’s name that made my tongue twisted,” said Sungyeon.

The group had earned 1 million hearts by the end of the video.

Gugudan

K-pop group Gugudan took to Naver’s V app Wednesday to celebrate their first anniversary, singing “Happy Birthday” to themselves.

“It’s already our one-year anniversary. We were holding a showcase with our fans at this time last year,” said Mimi.

Sejeong was unable to participate as she was off shooting a TV drama. Her bandmates showed a picture of Sejeong on a smartphone screen to have her with them in spirit.

“I wish Sejeong were here with us as it’s our one-year anniversary V live broadcast. I hope she could be together with us on the next anniversary,” said Hana.

They also shared a story about their CEO giving them a TV as a gift for their home.

“Actually, I can’t even feel that today is our first anniversary. I remember the days when we shot a teaser and Music Bank, wearing this outfit,” said Mina.

“Thank you so much, and I love you all,” she added, blowing a kiss to the fans.

Online viewers joined the group’s celebration, commenting, “Happy birthday!” “Let’s stay together, Gugudan” and “You’re beautiful.”
