Sunday’s episode featured IU being interviewed by the program’s staff in order to be hired as a regular guest member on the show.

Asked why she wanted to join the show, IU answered, “First of all, I really like Lee Hyo-ri. Also, I decided to join the program to take a break and recover. I was so worn out after releasing my latest album.”

She said that she used to visit Jeju Island quite often when she was young. She also mentioned that does not have a driver’s license yet and that she has a shy personality.

“I don’t talk much, but I definitely can work very hard instead,” IU said, showing passion for her work.

“Hyori’s Homestay” centers on singer Lee Hyo-ri’s daily life with her husband Lee Sang-sun in the couple’s home on Jeju Island. In the program, the couple, along with IU who was hired by the couple, will open their house to visitors for homestays.
