It’s the meeting of two singer-actors.

JYJ’s Kim Jae-joong and former After School member Uee will play the male and female lead in an upcoming TV drama “Manhole: Phil in Wonderland.”

The fantasy-comedy will tell the story of a jobless young man who falls in to a manhole and travels through time.

Jae-joong will be the main male character Bong-phil and Uee will play the main female character Kang Soo-jin, who secretly loved Bong-phil for 28 years.

This is Jae-joong‘s return to acting in two years, after completing military service.

“Manhole: Phil in Wonderland” will be a Wednesday-Thursday show starting in August.
