FT Island showed the band’s appreciation to fans for sending their support for their 10th anniversary album “Wind,” via Naver’s V app Sunday.

“We officially wrapped up our scheduled activities after performing on SBS’ ‘Inkigayo’ music show today,” Choi Min-hwan said.

The band shared their thoughts on the three weeks of album promotions.

“I was impressed by the first performance we had on ‘M! Countdown.’ I felt familiar and strange at the same time since our band rarely performs,” Lee Jae-jin said. “When I heard you guys cheer for us,
the moment hit me to realize that I’m on the stage. Thanks.”

“The first showcase we did for the first time since our debut and appearing on the KBS music show ‘You Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook’ was especially memorable for me,” Choi Jong-hoon added.

Lee Hong-ki, who couldn’t join the live broadcast due to acute indigestion symptoms, also conveyed thanks to fans via a voice message.

Joo Haknyeon

Singer Joo Haknyeon from the second season of Mnet’s reality competition “Produce 101” aired his first live broadcast via Naver’s V app. Footage of his broadcast was uploaded on the V PICK Channel on Sunday.

Joo showed up on the screen with a baby pig, which had been newly born at his home.

“I want to give him a name. Please recommend one to me if you have an idea,” Joo said.

As fans suggested names through the comments, Joo read them one by one. “I can’t pick one as every name is so suitable for the pig,” Joo said.

After much consideration, Joo named the pig “Kkool-e” -- the Korean version of “oink.”

“Now I will call you ‘KKool-e,’” Joo said.

“Hey, wake up,” he exclaimed, as the baby pig took a nap in his arms during the entire broadcast.

Hwang Chi-yeul

Hwang Chi-yeul’s two days of concerts at YOLO Con ended Sunday, as the singer sent a goodbye message to fans via Naver’s V app.

“The concert finished successfully today. I’ve put my everything into it,” Hwang said.

“You guys invested one or two precious days of your whole life for coming to my concert. I hope you enjoyed it like I did.”

Hwang told fans he could perform on stage as if there were no tomorrow.

“It was because of you that I could maintain the attitude. I can exist since my fans send me support every time.”

He added that he was worried about a fan who nearly fell during the show.

“I held the fan at that moment. I always hope my fans never get hurt at the concert,” Hwang said.

“Be safe on your way back home. Thank you so much for coming to my first concert.”
