Twice grabs No. 1 again in Japan

A Japanese version of Twice’s “Signal” topped the country’s music charts again, proving the group’s skyrocketing popularity.

K-pop group Twice dropped a Japanese version of its hit track “Signal” May 14. The song, topping music charts there right after the release, once again took the first place Wednesday.

A Japanese version music video of “TT,” the band’s other hit song, also hit 3 million views on YouTube, Thursday.

Twice is slated to make an official debut in Japan. It will release the album “#Twice” Wednesday, followed by the “Twice Debut Showcase Touchdown in Japan” on July 2 at Tokyo Metropolitan
Gymnasium.
