In the video released via Naver V app Monday, Jinyoung, who has been working on the drama’s soundtrack “Deep Blue Eyes” in the studio, explained the song’ concept to the girls, saying, “This song is a bit heavy, but I want you guys to cover it in a fresh and cute way.”

He then asked each members to try out their parts from the song before official recording. As the members hesitated to go first, Soojung of Lovelyz broke the silence and grabbed the microphone. Jinyoung, looking satisfied with Soojung’s smooth tryout, tapped on YooA of Oh My Girls as the next performer.

YooA also got the jitters, but successfully showcased her part with Jinyoung’s coaching.

The video also showed Moonbyul of Mamamoo asking Jinyoung for advice on acting, as he has appeared in several dramas before.

“You just have to digest the script and understand it by heart. Don’t think that you’re acting. Put yourself in the acting situation,” Jinyoung said.

Other cast members of the drama include Red Velvet’s Seulgi, Sonamoo’s D.ana, Jeon So-mi and Kim So-hee, who are former members of now-disbanded project group I.O.I.
