When a fan asked him whether he is studying Japanese, he said “Yes! Actually I started the broadcast while I was studying.”

“We will have concerts in July and we will be on Zepp Tour in Japan in August,” Cha said. “If I can’t speak Japanese there (on Japan tour), I will feel very sorry to the fans.”

He said he learned adjectives on the day and showed off his Japanese skills making sample sentences with the words he learned.

“Isn’t Astro popular? -- It’s a secret,” he said in Japanese.

“I’m trying hard. I recently recorded a video for the concert and you can look forward to it,” he said.

Boy band Seventeen expressed their appreciation to the fans via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

The group won the 1st prize on MBC Music’s music show “Show Champion” for second the consecutive week with its latest track “Don’t Wanna Cry.” It was the fifth time the band brought the trophy back home since it released the track.

The band attributed reaching the milestone to its fans CARATs.

“I’m thrilled to win the Champion Song title,” Wonwoo said. “I think it is all because of CARATs and we will work harder.”

Seventeen will kick off its first world tour concert series “2017 Seventeen 1st World Tour Diamond Edge,” with events in Seoul from July 14 to 16.

The 13-member act debuted with its first EP “17 Carat” with lead track “Adore U” in May 2016 and has since enjoyed critical success.

K-pop girl group T-ara aired the latest showcase for its mini album “What’s My Name” via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

T-ara kicked off the showcase with a performance of “My Name,” the lead track off the new album.

Eun-jung asked fans to shout out “(it’s) T-ara” during the chorus part of “My Name.”

T-ara, originally debuted in 2009 as a group of six, but became a quartet after Boram and Soyeon left the group in May as their contracts being expired.

“It’s a pity that we cannot perform on the stage as six,” Hyomin said. “But the contracts expired anyway so it is up to them and we need to support them. Boram and Soyeon also supported the rest of us.”

The album is highly likely to be the last album of the girl group as the contract of the four members will expire in December this year.
“T-ara is my whole youth. I can’t change it with anything,” Hyomin said.
