Twice’s Tzuyu celebrated her 20th birthday on Wednesday and marked the day with a V live broadcast.

“I wanted to come to V app earlier, but we had to practice for a concert... sorry I’m saying hello at such a late hour,” Tzuyu said. The time was past midnight.

“Every time our agency’s star has his or her birthday, the company hangs up the birthday person’s photo out on the building facade. I need to take a selfie with it but I haven‘t done it yet.”

Tzuyu said she had ice cream cake for her birthday, which the other Twice members prepared for her.

“I know many of you are congratulating me for my birthday so I really wanted to thank you. I saw you donated to good causes under my name, and put up giant signboards inside subways to send me birthday messages. My mom collects these things on the web and sends them me,” Tzuyu said.

When fans asked how she was so naturally pretty, Tzuyu modestly said, “I’m wearing light makeup. Because if I show you my real ‘ssaeng-eol’ I will look too tired,” Tzuyu said, using the new-coined Korean word for a makeup-less face.

Tzuyu sang a song for the fans watching the V live. She also winked and made heart shapes with her hands for fans to screenshot her.

Tzuyu’s birthday live wass nearly 2-hours long.
