Actress Hwang Jung-eum took to Instagram to share her daily life as an expectant mother.

She posted photos on her Instagram Thursday that showed herself wearing a painting apron over her striped blouse during a painting class, along with hashtags such as #Healing, #Prenatal Care and #With Kong (a nickname of her baby). In another photo, she is seen clinging to another short haired woman, later identified as actress Park Su-jin, a close friend of Hwang. The two had met as members of now-disbanded girl group Sugar in the early 2000s, and have been close ever since.

Hwang tied the knot with golfer-turned-entrepreneur Lee Young-don in February last year. Her agency announced her pregnancy in early February saying that the baby is due in autumn.

Hwang originally debuted as a member of Sugar in 2002 and embarked on an acting career after the band disbanded in 2006.

She appeared in dramas such as “Kill Me, Heal Me,” “She was Pretty,” both in 2015, and most recently, “Lucky Romance“ in 2016. Following the pregnancy, she has been taking a break from acting to devote herself to prenatal care.
