Gong Yoo held a charity bazaar event titled “Beautiful Moment” with fans Saturday in Seoul.

Some 700 fans participated. During the two-hour event, he also met them in person to chat with them.

“I’ve always wanted to do something good with you, besides having a fan meeting,” the actor said. “I prepared today’s event to build a strong bonding with you. Thanks for participating in the bazaar and sorry to those fans who could not make it today.”

He also said that he had always wanted to express his gratitude to fans for loving and supporting him for such a long time.

“In my acting career, I put in the most effort from last year to this year, starring in ‘Train to Busan’ and ‘Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,’” Gong Yoo said.

The highlight of the event was an auction session, during which the star’s favorite goods went on sale.

The profits will be donated to charity, according to his agency Management Soop.
