If it were not for the group’s nearing disbandment, there would be nothing to be sad about all four members of Sistar smiling brightly in photos.

Sistar’s agency Starship Entertainment on Friday unveiled two promo photos for the group’s upcoming single “Lonely,” its last release before bidding goodbye to fans.

In the black and white photos set against the backdrop of Macao, four members showed their friendship by matching their white outfits and posing in same gestures.

The group’s last single “Lonely” was composed by a producing team that had worked on Sistar’s hits such as “Touch My Body” and “I Like That.”

Coming to an end after seven years together, the group’s agency had announced Tuesday that the members will go separate ways after their contract with the agency expires early next month.

The agency had also issued a statement, “Starship has been proud of Sistar. Thank you for your effort for the last seven years.”

Sistar landed in the K-pop scene in June 2010 with a debut single “Push Push.” The group was widely beloved by fans especially for its summer hits such as “Shake It” and “So Cool.”

“Lonely” will be released on May 31.
