In a video recently shared on social media, Junsu is shown dancing on stage with a group of police at an event to promote Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO-designated cultural heritage site in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, on May 20.

“I’ve been performing at local events a lot since I entered the military, even more than when I was in JYJ,” Junsu said, also wearing a police uniform.

“I am grateful to have been invited to this program and spend time with you guys.”

With his fellow police performers, the singer showed his dancing skills hadn’t got rusty, despite his temporary break from the group. He showed powerful performances for songs such as Michael
Jackson’s “Dangerous” and a track from “Death Note,” a musical he had starred in previously.

Junsu began his military service on Feb. 9 and started serving as a task group police officer at the South Gyeonggi Police Agency.

The singer is also reported to have been spotted while directing traffic on road and communicating with fans he met while carrying out his duty.
