Seventeen aired a voice-only V live on Thursday from their residence, in which they marked the second anniversary of their debut.

“Hello, Carats. It’s past midnight now, and a lot of you must be sleeping, but because this is a special occasion we had to take to V,” said a Seventeen member’s voice.

Carat is the name of Seventeen’s fan club, with the members called Carats.

“You know we love you,” whispered a voice of one of the Seventeen members.

“This is our first time airing a voice-only V, but it’s nice that, in this way, we can broadcast from where we live. We can’t show you the place, but we can still talk to you and maybe even fall asleep talking to you,” Seventeen said.

“If you like this broadcast, maybe we can fix this no-video V live as a regular radio show,” said the group collectively, marveling at the convenience of the voice-only broadcast.

Fans left comments on how it feels like Seventeen is right next to them in the dark of the night.

Seventeen pitched an idea to pair up members by twos and making them DJ the future radio programs.

The voice clip raked in over 3 million hearts overnight.

Seventeen will air another main V broadcast on Friday for their second anniversary.

Twice’s Momo

Twice’s Momo danced the dance of the group’s song “Signal” through live V broadcast, Thursday.

“Signal” is the eponymous song of Twice’s latest album which released on May 15.

“Our fan autograph signing event ended at 10 p.m. which is why I’m broadcasting so late,” Momo said, slightly panting after dancing.

“Today, I’m going to teach you the steps of the ‘Signal’ dance. You all want to learn, right?” prodded Momo.

“‘TT’ and ‘Cheer Up’ was cuter than powerful, but ‘Signal’ has more powerful moves. It might be a little difficult to just see the video and copy the dance so I’ll show you in details how to dance.”

Momo was joined by a man wearing an alien mask, to whom she taught the moves so that the V app audience could see.

Pristin

Pristin’s Sungyeon celebrated her 18th birthday on Thursday. Sungyeon took to V app live to thank her fans for sending congratulatory messages.

“I was resting for the day but I missed you so I turned on the V app.

“‘Sungyeon, we will stay with you always, let’s spend beautiful years together,” Sungyeon read aloud a V app comment and said, “Thank you, thank you.”

Fellow Pristin members had sent birthday messages to Sungyeon when the clock struck midnight on Wednesday.

“Also, Eunwoo unni told me she’s written a very long letter for me, I’m looking forward to getting it,” Sungyeon said, looking over to Eunwoo who was sitting outside of the camera frame.

“My grandma came from America and she made me food this morning, so I’m very happy,” Sungyeon said.

Other Pristin members exchanged banters with Sungyeon throughout Sungyeon’s standalone broadcast. They later joined Sungyeon in front of the camera, upon which they sang Sungyeon the birthday song and handed her gifts

Kyulkyung was absent due to her trip to China.

Sungyeon graduates from Seoul Foreign School on Friday.
