Twice members took to the Naver V app Thursday to broadcast on their way home after performing the first live edition of “Signal” on Mnet’s “M! Countdown.”

The members waved to fans, who were waiting to see them in front of the broadcasting station.

“How was our first stage? Have you seen it in real time?” asked Nayeon while eating snacks.

Viewers responded enthusiastically by commenting “Beautiful” and “Yes!” with heart-shaped stickers.

“One fan said that he got a cramp after following our choreography video uploaded yesterday,” said Tzuyu. “Our dance moves are so difficult that you have to stretch beforehand.”

Jihyo remarked that her friends had sent her pictures to confirm they had enjoyed watching her first stage performance of “Signal.”

Nayeon added, “My friends also contacted me after the performance, asking for autographed albums.”

Boy band Seventeen greeted fans through Naver’s live broadcast Thursday, the day when the group’s showcase tickets went on sale.

“Carats (referring to Seventeen’s fan club) won’t know if we turned on V live right now. They’re busy ordering our tickets,” said Jeonghan.

Many fans commented either “I got the ticket!” or “I screwed up” in real time.

“The highlight medley of our fourth mini album was unveiled yesterday. How was it?” the members asked. “We were hiding from you to avoid spoilers before its release.”

The members did not hesitate to praise one another, saying each other’s teaser was the coolest.

“I think the title track is the best of all our songs. But you’ve got to see the choreography too,” said Vernon.

Woozi said that he had trouble sleeping these days as he wants to show fans what the group has been preparing, as soon as possible.

Wrapping up the video, the group promised fans that they would perform in various fields this summer.

Momoland

The members of K-pop group Momoland revealed the stories behind their names via the Naver V app Thursday, while they were in a waiting room before a stage performance on Mnet’s “M! Countdown.”

Ahin kicked off by sharing her story. She said that her grandmother named her in the hope that she would be beautiful and smart.

Daisy, which is also a name of a flower, explained that her name signifies “purity” and “brightness.”

“I actually have a secret about my name,” she said. “My older sister used to like an animation called ‘Wedding Peach,’ and she gave me the name Daisy, which is the name of a character featured in it.”

Daisy asked Nayoon what her English name is and she immediately answered “Michelle.”

“My English teacher gave the name to me ages ago,” she said.

Jane said her English name when she was an elementary student was “Strawberry,” but revealed that she couldn’t use the name as she didn’t know how to spell it.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit www.vlive.tv.
