The upcoming drama tentatively titled “Bride of the Water God” will air in July, according to tvN on Monday.

“‘Bride of the Water God’ will air as the sequel to the upcoming drama tentatively titled ‘Circle,’” an official from the cable broadcaster said. “The exact premiere date has not yet been set but it will hit the small screen in July.”

The cast, including Nam Joo-hyuk, Shin Se-kyung, Gong Myung and Krystal, started filming the drama on March 22.

The fantasy rom-com is a spinoff of a cartoon series. It tells the story of a girl who is offered up as a sacrifice to a water god to stop a long draught in a village.
