Global K-pop star Psy gave viewers a dance lesson for his new track “New Face” on Wednesday through a live V app broadcast.

“Some people complained that the choreography of ‘New Face’ is difficult. Many people did actually,” Psy said, standing up to demonstrate the dance.

“It’s different from the ’Gangnam Style’ horse dance. You have to cross your arms, not the wrists,” he highlighted. “Then bounce your waist and legs like Noh Hong-chul.”

He also gave a special tip to make the dance look better. “The key point of the bounce is to jump. Make a little jump before you bounce,” he said.

Psy accompanied the dance movents with some funny sounds.

Im Si-wan

An interview with the cast from “Merciless” was aired on the V Movie channel on Wednesday. Seol Kyung-gu, Im Si-wan and Kim Hee-won did the interview in a street vendor themed set.

“’V Movie’ made the special set to celebrate the good news,” a host said, implying there’s a back story. The flick has been invited to the out-of-competition midnight category of the 70th Cannes Film Festival.

“At the moment when I made a call to let our director Byun Sung-hyun know that the movie will screen at the Cannes Film Festival, Byun was drinking soju at a street vendor,” Seol said. “He was very satisfied with the news, ordering hard liquor instead of soju from then on,” Seol added.

The host asked the actors to randomly choose one of six bottles on a table and to drink it. Five bottles were filled with water, while one bottle was filled with soju. The three picked one and drank it while hiding their facial expressions to trick viewers.

Lim made a puzzled face as he drank a shot bottoms up. He even picked up chopsticks and ate side dishes. “Our baby should not drink alcohol,” the host read the comment from a viewer and laughed.

The truth was revealed later, however, that the person who drank soju was Seol.

CNU

CNU of B1A4 gave a quick tour of the group’s office, introducing his recording studio to fans via his official V app channel on Wednesday.

“I have been extremely busy recently that I couldn’t concentrate on making songs,” CNU said. The main vocalist of the group, however, soon gave up on working. “I’d rather watch old DVDs,” said CNU, picking up a ‘B1A4 Adventure Concert 2015’ DVD.

“I used to wear so many rings at the time,” CNU said. He gasped and laughed as the concert footage played on. “I truly enjoyed performing on the stage. It was a very impressive moment when I saw a sunset with you guys during the concert,” he remembered.
