Gong Yoo thrilled fans in Taiwan on his “2017 Gong Yoo Live Make a Wish in Taipei” on Saturday.
The actor’s meet and greet took place at Xinzhuang Gymnasium in New Taipei, with some 5,500 fans attending the event.

Gong Yoo captured their hearts by revealing his innermost feelings and reading a letter to them.
The 37-year-old actor burst into tears when fans surprised him with a banner saying, “Every moment I spent with Gong Yoo shined.”

“Thank you so much! It’s been so long since I had my last fan meeting. I made a promise to myself not to cry today, no matter what,” the actor said. “I’ve working hard without taking a break so I have been weak lately. I promise not to cry anymore. Because of your support and love, I will do my best to settle my mind again.”

On Friday, Gong Yoo arrived at the airport in Taipei, which was packed with flocks of excited fans that had come to welcome him.
Splash News, a major entertainment news agency, broadcasted the actor’s arrival through a live broadcast on social media.

On the same day, he also held a press conference. The media asked him questions about his past roles, such as in the 2016 zombie blockbuster “Train to Busan” and tvN’s megahit drama “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God.” The actor also talked about the role he wants to play in the future.

Following the fan meeting in Taiwan, Gong Yoo will visit Hong Kong for the next meet and greet in May at Asia World-Expo.
