Junsu, a member of the band JYJ, on Sunday released a photo of his first holiday since enlisting in the military.

On his Instagram account, the 31-year-old singer-songwriter uploaded a photo taken with his military superior.

“Is everyone doing well? I have been missing you a lot. I look forward to the day when I will present myself as a more mature person,” he wrote, adding the hash tag #Firstbreakwithmysuperior.

Kim underwent a law enforcement course after a monthlong basic training at the Nonsan army training center. He was posted to a promotional squad under the Suwon regional government of Gyeonggi Province as part of his military service. His duty will last through November next year.

Kim made his debut in 2003 as a member of TVXQ, a boy band formed by the record label and talent agency S.M. Entertainment. He was a trainee there for six years. Kim released four Korean albums, four Japanese albums, 30 Japanese singles and several Korean singles during his first six years as part of TVXQ.
