The singer appeared ill during a media showcase for the group’s new album “YOLO” held at the Shinhan Card FAN Square in northern Seoul on Wednesday. While performing the dance for the new track, she suddenly ran backstage.

The host of the event later said she was taken to the hospital due to a breathing problem.

“She went to the hospital due to breathing difficulty, probably because she took medicine on an empty stomach,” said the host.

Other members apologized for her sudden departure.

Eunjin was discharged from the hospital early Thursday morning.
She addressed fans via Naver V app Thursday, saying, “I was in very bad condition at the showcase, but now I’m fully recovered.”

The group‘s agency MBK Entertainment also said the singer is set to join the group’s first comeback stage performance on Mnet’s “M!Countdown” on Thursday.

The nine-member group released its second full-length album “YOLO” Wednesday at noon with the lead track “Will You Go Out With Me.” The group wrote the entire album.
