Mamamoo threw a surprise birthday party for Wheein on Monday.

In the video released Monday via Naver‘s V app, the group was seen busily preparing for the party before the birthday girl arrived at the site. The plan to keep quiet failed as the girls kept giggling with excitement.

Solar, Moonbyul and Hwasa greeted Wheein by singing happy birthday and delivering presents and a cake.

Wheein, looking surprised by the unexpected event, happily blew the candle and expressed gratitude to the members. Since there was only one candle on the cake, the members made a joke, saying,

“Congratulations, you just turned one year old.”

Hwasa gave Wheein a dart board and a craft beer machine, and Moonbyul gave her a lingerie set.

“I didn’t know you guys prepared so much. This is so touching,” said Wheein.
