In OCN’s new drama “My Secret Romance,” she plays Lee Yoo-mi, a young woman who has a bright personality but turns passive when it comes to dating.

The first episode will feature Lee meeting the male character Cha Jin-wook, played by actor Sung Hoon, at a resort in Gangwon Province and unexpectedly spending the night together.

The story unfolds as the two meet again three years later, when Lee becomes a nutritionist at the cafeteria of the company where Cha works.

“The drama centers mainly on romance itself,” said its director. “There will be a lot of chemistry between the two characters.”

Song and Sung have also contributed to the drama’s soundtrack “Same” (unofficial translation) in a duet, adding to the drama’s romantic setting.

Song, aside from her group activities, has been pursuing an acting career since 2010. She has starred in dramas such as KBS1’s “Sweet Home, Sweet Honey” and Naver TV Cast’s web drama “Immutable Law of First Love,” which both aired in 2015.

The 12-episode “My Secret Romance” will air Mondays and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. It will also be simultaneously broadcast outside the country via DramaFever, a video streaming site.
