Tickets for Guckkasten’s first solo concert in Japan sold out.

Guckkasten will host a solo concert “Squall in Japan 2017” on June 5 at a live club in Daikanyama, Tokyo. Its agency Interpark said Monday, “Tickets sold out in five minutes.”

Guckkasten has been gaining popularity in Japan. The band performed at a Japanese festival “Tokyo Music Day 2009” and a Japanese rock festival “Summer Sonic 2012.” It had also collaborated with Japanese musicians on various occasions.

The band has been preparing its debut in Japan, launching an official website and social media outlets in Japanese.

“Guckkasten is not exactly a K-pop idol band. It, however, has been gaining popularity in Japan based solely on its music,” Interpark said.
