Eunhyuk of Super Junior has donated 30 million won ($27,000) to a fund devoted to supporting the veterans of the Korean War.

He is currently serving in the Korean Army.

“I have been always interested in donation, since I myself have been through difficulties,” said Eunhyuk. “War veterans are heroes who sacrificed their youth for the nation. But the reality is that
they are relying on insufficient government subsidies.”
