Yoo Ah-in joins ‘Chicago Typewriter’ script reading

The lead cast of the upcoming tvN fantasy rom-com “Chicago Typewriter” recently met up for the first script reading.

The cable network released some photos of Yoo Ah-in, Im Soo-jung and Go Kyung-pyo via social media, revealing how passionate the actors were.

In the photos, Yoo Ah-in shows his range with a series of emotions, from serious to light-hearted.

TvN said, “Yoo Ah-in looks great even with his short hair. There will be no such writer with a perfect visual like him.”

Yoo will star as Han Se-joo, the famous writer and Im will play Jeon-seol, the anti-fan of Han Se-joo in the drama. Go will play as Yoo Jin-oh, the ghost writer behind Han Se-joo.

“Chicago Typewriter” tells the story of writers in the 1930s, when Korea was under Japanese colonial rule. The drama is set to air April 7.
