Sandara Park will be joining the cast of the film rendition of “Cheese in the Trap,” according to its producer Mountain Movement Story on Friday.

The former 2NE1 singer will be taking up the role of Jang Bo-ra, the outspoken best friend of lead character Hong-sul, to be played by actress Oh Yeon-seo.

Playing Kwon Eun-taek, Jang’s love interest in the original webtoon series, will be rookie actor Kim Hyun-jin.
