Bae Doona said she feels more and more need to protect the environment as she gets older, on a video snippet of her recent interview with a local fashion magazine released via V app Tuesday.

She is the cover model for Allure’s annual “green issue,” which focuses on environmental problems. The model-turned-actress also models for activewear brand Kolon Sports’ “Flower Power” campaign, which aims to protect endangered wildlife.

“I am always concerned about environmental issues but my life is not eco-friendly enough to lead (environmental campaigns),” Bae said. “I just think that we need to coexist with nature even though that may be a bit bothersome.”

Bae is currently filming for a new tvN drama, tentatively titled “Secret Forest.”
