Producer Na Young-seok said “New Journey to the West 4” will air in June, but did not identify which country would be featured.

The last episode of the third series on Sunday included new footage from the previous two trips. The announcement of the new season was made after the third season ended.

“The new season will be filmed in a country other than China,” Na said in a caption without specifying the location. All the last three seasons have been filmed in China.

Kyu-hyun who appeared in tvN’s “New Journey to the West 3” might not be in the next season due to his mandatory military service. Kyu-hyun was planning to join the military before the end of this year.
