Kwanghee joined the military on Monday, according to the singer’s agency Bonboo Entertainment.

After receiving five weeks of basic military training at Korea’s largest boot camp in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province, he will serve in the military band for two years.

“Kwanghee decided not to invite anyone at the enlistment site nor leave any message to the press,” an agency official said.

Kwanghee reportedly spent his last days before the enlistment filming episodes for MBC’s “Radio Star” and “Infinite Challege,” in which he has been appearing as a regular host.

“Kwanghee has successfully finished recording the last episode in a cheerful atmosphere, talking about his expectations for the army,” the director of “Radio Star” said.

Prior to working as a TV personality, Kwanghee was a member of a K-pop boy band ZE:A.
