Actor Kang Ha-neul took his Instagram account on Saturday to announce his well-being after the hacking incident.

“A while ago, a veteran hacker hacked by account and changed my password to remind me of my password which I could hardly remember,” he said.

Kang’s agency Sem Company confirmed that it is true that Kang’s account was hacked and the announcement was posted by the actor himself.

“(Kang said) he got to know about the incident thanks to his acquaintances,” the agency said. “We don’t know what kind of messages were sent to his acquaintances (from the hacker).”

The actor vowed to interact more with his fans after this incident.

“I don’t use Instagram much so I often heard to use it more often. I feel like I am being punished now since I didn’t listen to that,” Kang said.

The actor recently finished filming the action film “Young Cops,” which aims to hit the theater in the first half of the year.
