Lee Dong-wook will broadcast his upcoming fan meeting via Naver’s V app, to his agency said Wednesday.

Lee opened his V app channel and shared a video on the same day.

“I decided to open a channel to closely communicate better with fans at home and abroad,” the actor said. “I’ll unveil a behind-the-scenes video of the fan meeting Sunday, along with part of the special event.”

King Kong by Starship, which represents the actor said, “Lee decided to live broadcast part of the meeting Sunday through the app. It’s because the tickets for the meeting sold out within one minute of their release.”

The actor will hold a fan meeting tour in seven cities in Asia, including Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand and Japan.

Lee, 35, was in tvN’s drama “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” which ended on Jan. 21.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit www.vlive.tv.
