Jeon So-mi chewed through a bag of crickets and mealworms in Saturday‘s broadcast of “My Little Television.”

Her father, Matthew Douma, joined her in the quest.

So-mi was competing against contestants Mamamoo, Kim Gu-ra and Lee So-ra with original entertainment items.

The 15-year-old came up with the idea of eating edible bugs, which apparently is something that was on her bucket list.

Douma went first, emptying the bag of crickets in one go.

So-mi carefully bit into her share, then offered the bug wings to those around her with chilling hospitality.

The father and daughter did a bit of indoor rock climbing after.

Douma and So-mi spoke about their multicultural family and how So-mi was brought up in both Canadian and Korean ways.

With an average viewership rating of 25.8 percent, the two came second in the competing bunch.
