Gong Yoo was chosen as the No. 1 male celebrity that Korean women want to give chocolate to on Valentine’s Day, according to the NBT Partners.

Over 1,700 Korean men and women participated in the recent survey.

Park Bo-gum came in at second place while Lee Dong-wook took the No. 3 spot. Other mentions on the list included Song Joong-ki, Park Seo-joon, Lee Min-ho, Hyun Bin and Zo In-sung.

Among female celebrities, actress Han Hyo-joo topped the list, followed by Suzy at No. 2 and Yoo In-na at No. 3.

A local matchmaking company also revealed its latest survey. Nearly 200 women responded to the question: “Who is the most ideal celebrity to ask out for Valentine’s Day?”

About 40 percent of the respondents picked Gong Yoo, which led him to hold on to the No. 1 spot once more.

Since appearing as the male lead in the tvN’s hit drama “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” his huge popularity has increased even more.

Gong Yoo has received fan meeting offers from 15 different countries, including China, Japan, the US and Australia, according to Management Soop, which represents the actor.
