BTS’ ‘Wings’ sweeps music charts

Bangtan Boys’ latest album “Wings: You Never Walk Alone” is dominating the digital music market in South Korea.

Lead track “Spring Day” shot straight to the top spot across eight online music streaming sites, including Melon, Mnet, Genie and Naver Music as of 7:30 a.m., after its midnight release. The song delivers a warm, comfort and hopeful message. Leader Rap Monster was the main writer of the lyrics.

“Wings: You Never Walk Alone” is both a follow-up and extended version of its previous album “Wings,” which was released in October.

Bangtan Boys broadcast “BTS ‘You Never Walk Alone’ Preview Show” via the Naver V app Sunday to introduce its new album ahead of its release.

The boy band will showcase the latest album at the 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III The Wings Tour at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Feb. 18 and 19.
