Sandara Park of disbanded 2NE1 denied the alleged dating rumor with G-Dragon on JTBC’s “Talking Street.”

At the filming of the show, Haha who hosts the program sent congratulation to Sandara referring to the recent reports about the rumor she was dating G-Dragon.

On Jan. 8, after a Big Bang concert in Seoul, G-Dragon was seen escorting Sandara from the concert hall. He embraced Sandara’s shoulder and led her out of the reach of his fans. This led rumors the two were a couple.

Park, however, said she did not expect the reporters would take it as a hint of relationship. “We were playing a joke,” she said. “People from the company teased me saying that G-Dragon had me in a headlock.”

“I don’t date at work,” Park said. Both Park and G-Dragon are signed to YG Entertainment.

The episode will be aired on Wednesday.
